O-Film unveiled its 'Light Inspires the Future' strategy on August 20, with optics at its core.
On August 20, O-Film held a core executive conference at its Nanchang Future City campus, officially launching the "O-Film · Light Inspires the Future" strategy. Chairman Cai Rongjun stressed that the new strategy will center on "light," take root in optics fundamental technologies, and complete its strategic layout across four major business areas.

Optical lenses and imaging modules, the company's foundation business, will continue to deepen its presence in smartphone lenses, automotive cameras and handheld imaging devices, drones, action cameras, professional cameras and other emerging fields, accelerating breakthroughs and penetration in high-end lens technology.
In machine vision, O-Film has assembled a new core team, integrating related businesses scattered across its business divisions to establish a dedicated machine vision company. The business is not starting from scratch, but builds on 3D vision sensing technologies such as iToF/dToF and binocular imaging accumulated during the consumer electronics era, upgrading to a vision architecture dedicated to embodied intelligence. On July 7, O-Film Machine Vision Technology (Jiangxi) Co., Ltd. was officially established in Nanchang with registered capital of 50 million yuan.
In advanced glass substrate packaging, O-Film in August took control of Zhongke Daojing through a "transfer of existing shares plus capital increase" arrangement, acquiring a 51% post-investment stake. The industry regards 2026 as the key milestone for glass substrates moving toward mass production. Leveraging its platform strengths, O-Film will empower Zhongke Daojing in technology collaboration, market expansion and supply chain integration, accelerating its TGV process from R&D to mass production.
In passive optical components, Jiangxi O-Film Optical Micro-Nano Device Company was officially established on July 8, with O-Film holding a 99.5% stake. The company precisely targets core segments upstream in optical communications, focusing on R&D and production of passive optical components such as FAU fiber arrays, serving high-speed optical interconnect routes including NPO/CPO.
From the launch of the machine vision company in June and the establishment of the micro-nano device company in July to the acquisition of control of Zhongke Daojing in August, O-Film made consecutive moves in three emerging tracks within three months. Built on its optical precision manufacturing capabilities, this company, which has spent two decades in consumer electronics optics, is evolving from a single optical manufacturer into an optoelectronics platform covering multi-scenario applications.
