Canada Plans CAD 120 Million Investment Over Five Years to Build National Chip Network

Canada has announced it will invest CAD 120 million over five years to support the CAD 220 million Fabric project led by CMC Microsystems, helping startups commercialize their technologies. The project will subsidize prototype production, provide cheaper tools, software and training, and offer up to CAD 10 million in funding for semiconductor, superconductor, smart sensor and photonic hardware development.
