Union Optic posted first-half revenue of 1.049 billion yuan, up 17.24% year on year, and net profit attributable to shareholders of 7.8254 million yuan, up 138.69% year on year.
Union Optech recently released its 2026 interim report, posting revenue of 1.049 billion yuan, up 17.24% year on year; net profit attributable to shareholders of 7.8254 million yuan, up 138.69%; net profit excluding non-recurring items of 1.6674 million yuan; and net operating cash flow of about 110 million yuan, up 54.28%, marking a significant recovery in the profitability of its core business.

The improvement is primarily driven by the gradual payoff of heavy R&D investment made in previous years. Leveraging core technologies such as black-light true-color imaging, fast focusing, optical image stabilization and ultra-precision aspheric optics, the company continues to undertake major high-end optical lens development programs for leading industry customers.
By business, all five divisions achieved breakthroughs. The automotive business entered a phase of volume ramp-up, with automotive products officially in production at the Thailand plant. Intelligent driving revenue rose more than 80% year on year, while ADAS lens shipments reached tens of millions of units in the first half, up over 50% year on year, lifting the company into the top three ADAS lens suppliers. Its high-end 8M forward-facing lens has completed adaptation and certification on platforms including CARIZON and Momenta, and has secured design wins from Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi and other automakers and Tier 1 suppliers at home and abroad.
While consolidating its projection business, the display division is accelerating penetration into AR. Its Micro LED optical engines reach industry-leading levels of 0.15cc for a single panel and 0.18cc for three panels, and it serves AR customers including Yiwen Technology, DPVR and Gudong in depth.
Overseas projects in the zoom division grew steadily, with its HD zoom lenses of 20x and above holding the largest global market share for several consecutive years.
The consumer business launched the acquisition of Dongguan Changyi Optoelectronics to complete its "zoom + fixed focal length" product matrix, while the medium- and long-wave infrared business is being steadily rolled out.
Overall, Union Optic is driving growth on two fronts — deepening its domestic presence while expanding overseas. Its five business units are working in concert, overseas capacity and fixed-focus lens capabilities are being strengthened in parallel, and the multi-dimensional growth momentum along its core optics track continues to build.
